Mad as a teapot is a Sheffield Hallam University based team who are creating a Flash-based game about the metalwork collection at Sheffield Mueseum. The game is aimed at school children who would have visted the museum as part of a trip and be implemented as a learning tool when they return to school or at home in there own time.

The Game
The game is a flash based asset that will be used by Sheffield Museum, it help school children aged between 9 - 12 learn about the metal works collection. The game will be in the genre of detective and puzzle games. The setting is a mansion which will have small hints to the museums themselves. The objective is to retrieve all the items that have been locked away by an evil magical spoon. To do this players will have to gather information from NPC characters that will help them complete the mini-games in order to free the objects. We hope that this will be entertaining as well as education for the children.
